Three Reasons To Choose Tarmac

StoneSet Tarmac – coming in hot

Whether you are considering installing a new driveway at home, a new car park on commercial premises, or any other outdoor surfacing, tarmac is a perfect solution.

While its more glamorous stable mates – resin bound and block paving – might generally earn more eye candy points, be in no doubt about the value for money, durability and stylish simplicity that immaculately laid StoneSet tarmac can offer.

Long Lasting Surface

If your driveway is a particularly busy one, tarmac delivers an ideal, long lasting surface. Designed to last, StoneSet tarmac driveways deliver robust, durable surfaces that will withstand heavy daily use for years to come. When installed correctly, a tarmac driveway is exceptionally easy to maintain.

No matter if you have multiple vehicles in and out of your driveway each day, tarmac is a superb option for your Lincolnshire home all year round. As with all our surfacing, StoneSet tarmac drives are fully equipped to deal with the rigours of Lincolnshire’s weather. Frost, snow, sun and rain will not crack or warp your StoneSet driveway.

Safe, smooth and even, tarmac is a huge improvement on concrete or gravel driveways – particularly for bicycles, wheelchairs and pushchairs. With a tarmac drive, there will be no loose slabs to trip on, or gravel stones getting stuck in your shoes and tyres.

What’s more, StoneSet are licenced Street Works installers of dropped kerbs, access roads and entrances, giving Lincolnshire homeowners peace of mind when they choose us.

Parking? Fine!

Still the most popular choice for car parks in commercial settings, you simply cannot go wrong with StoneSet tarmac.

We always undertake a full site survey ahead of any installation, consulting our customers on the most convenient time to install their new tarmac surfacing. StoneSet of Lincolnshire can install outside of your usual trading hours if required, but it is surprising to many how little disruption laying a new tarmac car park can be.

As tarmac can be installed in strips, larger car parks can still remain in partial use during installation, keeping any disruption to a minimum. It is normal for a new StoneSet tarmac surface to be ready for use within around 48 hours of installation.

More often than not, StoneSet install Viadrive in car parks as well as domestic driveways and access roads around Lincolnshire. Older style asphalt materials can very quickly become scuffed by power steered vehicles, as well as becoming cracked and deformed in places, particularly bends. StoneSet tarmac installations deliver enhanced performance and scuff resistance, leaving you with a tough, fresh-looking surface for many years to come, even under heavy daily use.

Five great benefits of a StoneSet resin bound patio

  • Bespoke – a huge range of options for your home
  • Durable – will withstand decades of everyday use
  • Stunning – instantly enhance your garden’s look
  • Porous- absorbs and drains rainwater, no puddles
  • Easy to clean – soap & water fine, power washing optional

Great Value? Tar very much!

As we just mentioned, StoneSet tarmac installations represent a huge step forward from the shabby asphalt surfaces of years gone by. There is no sense whatsoever in hiring cowboy traders to throw a cheap and nasty surface down.

Please don’t be lured in by offers of ‘leftover tarmac from a job up the road’. If you’re offered ‘cheap tarmac’, our advice is to give it a swerve. All too often, we are contacted by people who are only a handful of years in with a new driveway – that simply isn’t right.

StoneSet tarmac represents terrific value for money, with our decades of surfacing experience giving our customers the very best in Lincolnshire.

Every quotation we issue is bespoke, and the price depends on a multitude of factors – any excavation requirements, drainage, remodelling of the surface area, tree removal etc. Of course, this applies to all our surfacing – resin bound, block paving and tarmac.

Of the three types of surface StoneSet install, tarmac is by far the lowest cost option. As you can see from some of our pictured work though, that doesn’t mean compromise on style or quality.

If the straightforward simplicity and durability of tarmac surfacing is right for your Lincolnshire home, business – or even both -StoneSet are your number one choice.
