Project Overview
We recently completed a stunning new resin driveway project for a client in Nettleham, Lincolnshire where we transformed their outdoor space into a durable, stylish, and low-maintenance feature. The project spanned four days and was delivered with a focus on precision and quality materials.
This focus allowed us to succeed in delivering a polished finish that our client loved.
Process
This resin driveway project took place over four days and several steps, including:
1. Full Excavation
This resin driveway project began with a full excavation to prepare the site for a stable and long-lasting base, which would support the driveway for years to come. Excavating was a crucial step in this project, as it ensured the driveway would withstand heavy use and weather conditions.
2. Plaspave Sorrento Edgings Installation
We installed premium Plaspave Sorrento edgings to the boundaries of the driveway to provide a clean, professional frame that complemented the overall design of the new driveway.
3. New Hardcore Sub-Base
Once the edging was set and the boundaries of the driveway were conformed, we then began laying the way for the resin driveway project to be installed. This began with the installation of a new hardcore sub-base, which would form the solid foundation that enhances drainage and prevents shifting over time.
4. Tarmac Binder Base Course
For added strength and durability, we applied a tarmac binder base course on top of the sub-base. This tarmac binder created an excellent base layer for the resin-bound surface and ensured additional durability to the new driveway.
5. Cappuccino Resin Bound Surface
This resin driveway project was created using a stunning Cappuccino resin, supplied to us from The Resin Mill. Using this beautiful, high quality resin, we crafted a seamless, smooth driveway with a stylish finish.
This material not only adds to the aesthetic appealof the property as a whole, but also offers excellent durability and resistance to wear and tear making it an excellent choice for a domestic driveway.
6. New Turf Installation
Once the driveway was installed, our work was not over. We laid a fresh new turf around the driveway, perfectly blending the new hardscape with soft landscaping to complete the look and create a cohesive, inviting appearance to the home’s entrance.
Outcome
The final result of this resin driveway project is a beautifully installed resin-bound driveway with enhanced curb appeal, increased functionality, and minimal maintenance needs.
The Cappuccino finish of the chosen resin adds a touch of elegance to the property, while the Sorrento edgings frame the design perfectly. This driveway will stand the test of time, providing the client with a sleek and practical solution for their home for years to come.
