Heritage resin bound with concrete edging
The start of this exciting project was to excavate and removed off site the existing surfacing. Approximately 200 tons of material was removed to create this beautiful resin bound footpath and driveway.
Once excavated the client chose a concrete flat top path edging along with our most popular resin bound finish blend cappuccino.
Once the edgings for the resin bound area were in place, it was time to start preparing for the courtyard area. This consisted of digging to new levels and replacing the existing gully – ensuring adequate fall for surface water drainage.
Once both areas were prepared, we began to lay 60mm of 14mm open textured binder course to the resin bound area. Soon after, we infilled the courtyard area with 120m² of paved edging. After that section was completed, we moved on to the final surface course of 20mm of UV resin bound surfacing, in stunning Cappuccino.
This was a truly fantastic project to be invited to complete, with a finish that we are exceptionally proud of!
